Through the greater part of the past twelve years, I have been blessed with many a brand’s confidence to provide guidance in navigating the evolving realities of digital media and social experiences. The past eighteen months at 44Doors has given me the opportunity to focus specifically on mobile solutions for brands and agencies, integrating everything from traditional to digital, offline to online, advertising to customer service. Today, I am honored to announce that I will be joining Edelman as Senior Vice President of Mobile Strategy.
The Edelman organization respects that transmedia success is an innovative and collaborative responsibility, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside an incredibly dynamic team that spans unique disciplines and geography. As we move fast into a world of real-time communication, there are few consistent standards or predictive variables. Beyond the excitement for mobile technology, it is the understanding of mobile behavior and an audience on-the-go that will empower clients to stay ahead…to lead.
Professionally, this opportunity is as entrepreneurial as any role I’ve had in the past. My conversations to date with David Armano, Kevin King, Jenny Love, Rick Murray and Nancy Ruscheinski have each shown to me that the Edelman family is anything but complacent or inert. We are ready for my “Live – Mobile – Online” rants, and I can’t wait to plug it all into client strategies.
Sitting here in Austin with a team led by old friend Morris Denton, I have a front row seat to trends and developments that are sure to shape so many of the mobile solutions and services we purvey. I’m equally fortunate to be joining a team so committed to innovation, and already laden with some seriously talented players across the network. Combined, we represent, and will build upon our current expertise which educates, enables and empowers clients on how to nurture relevant and meaningful relationships with their stakeholders through mobile.
Please don’t be shy and think that March is the only time to visit Austin and enjoy a good taco. I am fired up for the opportunities ahead, and I look forward to meeting more of the Edelman family and our clients. Saddle up!
