Thank you to everyone who participated in the first phase of the @EdelmanLA’s first sweepstakes series. The lucky winner of round one was Meagan Metkowski, a senior studying public relations at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. For her participation, Meagan was awarded a one-on-one conversation with Edelman’s Nathan Small, recruitment coordinator for the Los Angeles office. Nathan and Meagan both enjoyed the discussion and were grateful for the opportunity.
“I’m thankful that I took advantage of the Edelman sweepstakes,” Meagan said. “Having the chance to talk directly with Nathan about the job search process was an invaluable opportunity. I highly encourage others to participate!”
The second phase of #EdelLASweeps offers entrants the opportunity to speak with James Williams, long-time PR professional and general manager of Edelman Los Angeles. In addition to insights about the overall industry, James will speak around the value of public engagement and macro-issues that any PR practitioner should keep in mind.
